2020
**Exciting news recently [which is cheery when so many exhibition opportunities have been lost] - my Flower painting CASCADE has been chosen for the March section of the 2021 ARTISTS and ILLUSTRATORS MAGAZINE CALENDAR. It was very enjoyable painting it and I hope that everyone who receives the free calendar with the magazine will like looking at it!
ALSO -another painting TALL BARNS has been selected for a feature in the FEBRUARY issue of LEISURE PAINTER magazine. The article will explain how I went about painting it.
The POP UP Exhibition [ beginning of October] at The Woodyard in Cambridge was quite successful in spite of the rather atrocious weather. It was so nice to see artist friends once again. We had to cancel our usual July Open Studios show there this summer BUT we will be BACK in July 2021 !! Will update here now that I have actually remembered about this blog on the website. Thanks for reading.

18 January to 9th March 2016
solo exhibition with Addenbrookes Arts
eleven paintings to see
This is my second exhibition here, and I always hope that looking at the paintings will perhaps help to lighten the day for someone passing by.

Paintings are also on view at the Upstairs Gallery, Beccles Suffolk, and this selection will be changed every few months.

I am showing 3 paintings with Llewellyn Alexander Gallery London from the beginning of June to August 1st, as part of their annual 'Not the Royal Academy ' exhibition, one of which is featured below

I will again be showing work from my home studio as part of Cambridge Open Studios this July
weekends 1 and 3 from 10am to 6pm each saturday and sunday

The Open Studio weekends were very successful - very many thanks to my visitors. It is always interesting to meet people at the studio and show them the working environment.
So, back in the studio after a summer break, and I am preparing work for the Cambridge Art Fair now,[ taking place in October in the middle of the city]. This is an exciting and new challenge for me, - I will be with Drey Contemporary Fine Art , and then again with them at the Newmarket Christmas Fair.
If anyone is flying out from Cambridge Airport - you can see 4 of my Venice series paintings adorning the walls of the Departure Lounge, along with work by 6 other artists. This has been organised by Williams Art of Cambridge.
As usual, work can always be seen by appointment at the studio, just use the contact form on this website.
